Gardner/Fox recently agreed to sponsor Justin Greenhow, son of Gardner/Fox Project Manager Ned Greenhow, as he prepares for a 4,200 mile bike ride from Florence, Oregon to Washington, D.C.
On June 10, Greenhow will join 90 other members of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity in the Journey of Hope, a 75 miles per day bike ride, that will raise $500,000 for those with disabilities. The ride is the centerpiece of Push America, a philanthropic organization established by Pi Kappa Phi in 1977 to raise money and run programs to benefit the handicapped.
Not your stereotypical college fraternity brother, Greenhow is a trained Air Force reservist, crew chief, and aircraft mechanic. “Gardner/Fox is proud to support Justin and PUSH America. It’s a great cause and Justin deserves a lot of credit for taking on the incredible challenge of riding his bike across America” says Mark Pennington, Chief Financial Officer for Gardner/Fox. In preparation for the ride, Justin cycles upwards of 40 and 50 miles a day, twice a week.
